Ellie Goulding
Ellie's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) is a English singer-songwriter from England. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing engaging, but emotionally honest songs, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap, stands at the forefront of contemporary mainstream music and an independent, artistic pop.Goulding soon graduated from blogging to printed media, gaining recognition from major publications such as The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major contract. Her debut album was scheduled for release.
