Bellamy Young
Young started her career as an actor as a theatre actor. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the initial production of The Life. She also performed Off-Broadway, in Stephen Sondheim's Merryly We Rolled Along (1994) along with as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-96). The actress made her debut on TV in 1995, with her role as The Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap drama Another World. In 1997 and 1998, she played a cameo in Law & Order, playing two different roles. The year 1999 saw her film debut with a small role in the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. She began guest-starring in television comedies and dramas in the early 2000s. The shows were among them The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young was a part of more than 30 TV shows between the years 2000 to 2011. Young was one of the actors who appeared regularly on Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that began airing in 2003. After a total of nine episodes, a season, the series was canceled. There were recurring characters in the Lifetime legal drama For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami in 2005 through 2006 and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the oldest son-in-law of the Darling Family. From 2011 to the year 2013, she was Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
