Tom Selleck-1-1024x1005In 1997, with the Horizon Award, the Congressional Award in Washington DC recognized me. The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress, and the Congressional Award Board of Directors, give the Horizon Award special recognition. The Horizon Award is presented to people from the private sector who have helped to expand opportunities for all Americans through their own personal contribution, and are exemplary for the next generation of young people with their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was a wonderful teammate and loved being within such a highly skilled and well-experienced group. He practiced hard and played hard whenever his Magnum schedule allowed . He was very understanding with us all, and we enjoyed the large crowds that replaced the smaller number of spouses and friends during the national tournament matches. ".
